These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and the junk-removal and hauling services provided by GoneHaul Junk Removal & Hauling(“GoneHaul,” “we,” “us”). By requesting a quote, booking a job, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
Our services
We provide junk removal and hauling services in Twin Cities. This includes loading, removal, and responsible disposal, recycling, or donation of eligible items. Service availability depends on location, scheduling, and the nature of the items.
Quotes & pricing
Any price we provide before seeing the job in person is an estimate. Junk removal is priced primarily by the volume the items take up in our truck and the labor involved. We confirm the final price with you on site, before we begin loading, so there are no surprises. If the final price is higher than the estimate, you may decline the work or adjust the scope.
Payment
- Payment is typically due upon completion of the job, unless we agree otherwise.
- For larger or scheduled jobs, we may require a deposit to reserve your time slot, with the balance due on completion.
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards.
- Deposits and payments may be refunded at our discretion or as required by law; see Cancellations below.
Scheduling & cancellations
We will do our best to arrive within your scheduled window. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please let us know as early as possible by phone or text. For jobs that required a deposit, deposits for no-shows or last-minute cancellations may be retained to cover reserved time, at our discretion.
Items we cannot remove
For safety and legal reasons, we cannot haul certain hazardous or prohibited materials, which may include (but are not limited to): wet paint, chemicals, solvents, fuels, oils, asbestos, biohazardous or medical waste, ammunition or explosives, and similar items. If you are unsure whether an item qualifies, ask us before your appointment and we will help you find a safe disposal option.
Your responsibilities
- You confirm that you own the items being removed, or are authorized to have them removed.
- You agree to provide safe, reasonable access to the items and the property.
- You are responsible for removing any personal belongings you wish to keep before we haul items away. Once items are removed, they cannot be retrieved.
Liability
We take care while working on your property. We are licensed and insured. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoneHaul is not liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear, or indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to a job will not exceed the amount you paid for that job. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Recycling & donation
Where practical, we divert reusable and recyclable items to donation centers and recycling facilities. Once items leave your property, decisions about their disposal, donation, or recycling are made at our discretion.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of our services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Minnesota.
